The Flint Metro League had an impressive day in Regional track competition on Friday boasting 15 Regional Champions and numerous qualifiers for the MHSAA State Finals.

Kearsley's Sanaii Walker had a stellar day qualifying in three events, 2nd in the 100, 2nd in the 200 and Regional champion in the 400.  Other Regional champions included:

All of these Metro athletes have advanced to the MHSAA State Finals which will be hled on June 2.  Fenton, Flushing and Swartz Creek will participate in the Division 1 Championship at East Kentwood High School.  Brandon, Clio, Kearsley, Linden and Owosso will participate in the Division 2 Championship held at Zeeland Public Schools.

All schools will participate in the Flint Metro League track and field championship on Wednesday May 22 at Clio High School.
