Fenton was led by freshman standout Gracie Olsen who won all FOUR of her events and set Metro League records in three of the four. Olsen was a member of the 200 Medley Relay team of Halee Alexander, Megan Mallard and Rose Haney with a time of 1:54.46. This breaks the record previously set by Fenton in 2016 of 1:55.19. Gracie also teamed with Caitlyn Dailey, Sabrina Hall and Abigail Dolliver to set a new record in the 200 Free Relay with a time of 1:40.88 breaking a previous Fenton record set in 2011 of 1:41.94. Olsen shattered the 200 IM record with a time of 2:04.04 set in 2011 by Emily Shallman of Lapeer of 2:10.94.
Lily Kromer of Fenton earned First Team All-Metro in three events winning the 50 Free, 100 Free and was a member of the 400 Free Relay. Owosso's Allie Pumford was a double winner taking the 100 Fly and 200 Free.
Congratulations to Brad Jones from Fenton who repeats as Metro League Coach of the Year.
All teams will now advance to the MHSAA Finals which will be held on November 16 and 17.
