The league meet was exciting with 5 new records established. Fenton's Max Haney was a part of 2 record setting relays and set 2 individual records in the 200 Medley Relay and the 500 Freestyle. Jack Fries from Fenton set a new record in the 100 Backstroke and was a member of 2 record setting relays. Fenton set a new record in the 200 Free Relay with a team of Jack Fries, Kaz Sieja, Max Haney and Gavin Crews with a time of 1:29.43. The Fenton 400 Freestyle Relay team of Max Haney, Kaz Sieja, Jack Fries and Gavin Crews set a new record with a time of 3:16.96.
The Fenton Tigers have captured their 10th straight Metro League Championship finishing the league season with an undefeated 6-0 dual season record and a 1st place finish at the Metro League meet with 508 points. The Tigers, led by Coach of the Year Brad Jones, finished 127 points over 2nd place Swartz Creek.
