Flushing earned their first team Flint Metro Championship breaking Holly's record of 5 straight titles and 24 of the last 26. The Raider's were undefeated in league dual matches at 6-0 and also won the season ending Metro tournament. Coach Ian Thomas of Flushing was selected by league coaches as the "Tennis Coach of the Year".
In post-season MHSAA Regional competition, Holly, Flushing and Fenton each advanced players to compete at the State Finals.
