Logan Carter has excelled for four years in softball for the Tigers, earning All-Metro honors in each of her first three years. As a freshman and sophomore, this outstanding catcher was named to honorable mention teams and earned unanimous First Team All League and First Team All-State teams. Logan holds MHSAA individual records for RBI’s in a single game (twice), home runs in consecutive at bats (twice) and home runs in a season with 11. Carrying a 3.809 grade point average, Logan has accepted a softball scholarship at Western Michigan University and will pursue a degree in exercise science and plans to become a physician's assistant.
Jack Shore, also named the Flint Area April Male Athlete of the Month, has the distinction of the title of 2016 Flint Journal Baseball player of the year. Jack had a break-out junior year earning First Team All-Metro and First Team All-State honors as a pitcher and led the Eagles to a D2 Runner-Up title in post-season action. In addition to pitching, Jack also has a strong bat and plays at short for the Metro League champs. Also excelling in the classroom with a 3.66 GPA, Jack will attend Michigan State University in the fall, majoring in marketing in pursuit of a MBA.
