Taylor Shegos is participating in her fourth year of varsity swimming for the Tigers and has earned all-conference honors the past three years. In her sophomore and junior years, Taylor won diving championships in the County and the Region as well as earning All-State honors. As a junior, Taylor was named the MLive Swimmer/Diver of the year and also was named All-American. As a senior, Taylor was again the County diving champion of the year. Excelling in the classroom with a 3.9 GPA, Taylor plans to attend college on a diving scholarship.
Kearsley's Tommy Plunkey is a two-sport athlete for the Hornet's while maintaining a 3.5 GPA in the classroom. A three-year starter in football, Captain Plunkey accumulated over 1,000 yards of rushing and 1,500 all-purpose yards on the gridiron where he was named Honorable Mention All-State in his junior year. Tommy also earned 3rd Team All-Metro honors in track as a junior with the lead off leg of the 4x200 relay. Tommy plans to major in Engineering beginning in the Fall.
