Holly's boys tennis team defeated Kearsley to close out the 2015 league dual match season, which put the Bronchos at 6-0 in the Flint Metro League this fall and completed an undefeated season in league dual matches.
In addition, this extends their league unbeaten streak to 93 MATCHES, which recently broke the Flint-area record of 90 set by Grand Blanc (Big Nine) from 1991-2003.
The Bronchos were able to maintain the streak with highly competitive 4-4 ties against Brandon on Sept. 24, 2010, and Sept. 1, 2011. Holly has not lost a Metro dual since a 4-3 setback at Lapeer West on April 29, 1999.
The Flint Metro League season-ending tournament, worth 50% towards the final overall league standings, will be Tuesday, September 29, at Brandon High School beginning at 9 a.m.
