For each varsity sport, a school receives one point for each team it finishes ahead of in the final standings, with the league champion receiving a bonus point. Fenton won league championships in girls' golf, girls', boys' and girls' cross country, boys' soccer and boys' and girls' swim so far this year. Flushing has 93 total all-sports points going into the spring season with titles in volleyball, boys' tennis, football and boys' bowling. Holly is in 3rd place with 71.50 points followed by Swartz Creek with 70, Clio with 67, Kearsley with 62, Linden with 60, Owosso with 49 and Brandon with 48.50.
There are seven spring sports yet to compete for in the 2018-19 league sports year so expect a lot of movement in the all-sports competition between now and June.
