The girls team had another undefeated season at 14-0 and increased their Metro Conference winning streak to 88 straight matches and their 8th consecutive league championship. Bowling began in 2009 as a league sport with Oxford winning the first year and Kearsley winning every championship since. The Hornets look to continue their state dominance, setting their goals on a fourth straight Class B State Championship as they enter the post season.
The Kearsley boys also rolled their way to an undefeated Metro season finishing with a perfect 14-0 record. The boys team shared in at least a portion of the league title five times in the 9 year history of Metro bowling. The Hornet’s boys team won two Class B State Championships in the past three years and finished in second place last season.
It is not an overstatement to say that the Kearsley Hornets are the teams to beat, both in the league and the State. The Flint Metro League is very proud of their accomplishments.
